Tips and Tricks

Most of the time, appliances are needed to be repaired because of small mistakes made by the user. As a general tip, keep your appliance clean, especially between gaps, free of dampness, dirt and water. Feel free to look at tips and tricks below and gradually increase the lifetime of your appliance.

Do these regularly… (always!)

Always increase the speed from the 1st speed, 2nd speed and 3rd speed.
Keep all the jars dry after each use.
Ensure the mixie speed is on off and then switch on /off the main plug point.
After each use please keep the cord neatly when you store the mixie.
Please transfer the ground ingredients from the jar after use of mixie, otherwise there are chances of bush and base damage.
The ingredients should grind in dry condition for 1 minute then, add water and grind to get proper consistency.
Wash the jar with room temperature water (don't put in dishwasher!) and wipe with clean cloth.

Mixie Maintenance Tips

Small things that many forget when using a Mixie….

Before you use your Mixie for the first time, kindly read the instruction booklet.
Keep your mixie in an upright position at all times. The ingredients should not go above the 3/4 level of the jar
Before you switch on, please ensure the jar is properly locked on the mixie.
The mixie should always be in cool and dry areas. Ensure the mixie speed is on off and then switch on /off the main plug point.
Water leakage can happen when the jar’s bush is damaged. If that happens you will need to replace the bush immediately.
Please be careful not to put in HOT substances (any roasted spices, vegetables, etc) in jar.
Please give the mixie a full service check every year.

2. You will drop off your appliance at appointment time to repair & assess. After we assess, we will let you know the fault & cost. If you say yes, we will repair it. If not, the assessment fee applies.
